Construction Manager – 900,000 SF infrastructure upgrade project within an existing and Mechanical system upgrades to 3 mechanical equipment rooms within an existing “Mission Critical” Class A office building.
Replacement of existing pneumatic dampers (dampers were 39 yrs old and were not functioning as designed). Provision of new dampers and electronic actuators. Upgrade of existing pneumatic BMS panels to DDC including associated power and controls wiring. All work performed off-hours and at weekends within a fully operational facility. All work was performed in a specific swap-out/swap-in sequence to ensure no loss of operational functionality during normal working hours. Schedule was adjusted maximize owners energy benefits during cold season. Project was completed on time and ahead of schedule. Project Duration: 16 weekends installation – 8 weeks preparation.
