Holt Construction was selected by Silverstein Properties to complete the full Fit-out for one of their most prominent Tenants in 4 World Trade Center.
The 25,000 SF project consisted of half of the 44th Floor. Holt worked closely with IEX, Silverstein, MKDA Architects, and 2LS Engineers to ensure the project schedule of (14) Weeks was met, we achieved this by identifying and pre-purchasing of all long lead items such as mechanical equipment (FCU’s, crack units) , lighting, glass front, stone, and millwork. The space was the first space at 4WTC with the floating ceiling and exposed ductwork to achieve the most of the ceiling heights.
Holt worked closely with the Port Authority of NY & NJ from the permit process (TAA approval), inspections (Above Ceiling & Final Inspection), and the Closeout Process (TCO and Certificate of Occupancy). Due to our experience working in 4 WTC and with PANYNJ, this process was completely seamlessly. Holt was able to complete construction and TCO a week ahead of schedule and IEX was able to move in early.
