Holt Construction has begun the expansion of the Hennessy Center at Dominican College.

Constructed in 2005, the Hennessy Center is called the centerpiece of Dominican College’s athletic program and at 25,000 square-feet the Hennessy Center fits that title. The center houses a regulation basketball court, indoor suspended jogging track, weight room and fitness center.

However with the ever growing population reaching nearly 2,000 student bodies, the center was in need of expansion to accommodate this growth.

In under a year Holt Construction hopes to complete a new below ground fitness center, dance studio, weight room and coaches’ offices, while the current exercise room will become an Athletic Training Lab.

Holt Construction is working with LAN Associates on this Design-Build project.
