Mark Phillips, Director of Aviation for Holt Construction, was honored with an Infrastructure Leader of the Year Award at Subcontractors Trade Association’s (STA) NYC Opening Night Reception on Thursday, October 14, 2021.
Phillips was recognized for his work and accomplishments in overseeing various large-scale aviation projects in the Tristate and New England areas. It is Phillips’ extensive experience in the industry that enables him to maintain a perfect balance between meeting client demands and executing projects with focused efficiency.
The award was presented by Holt’s Director of Preconstruction, Joseph Martinez, at the reception which included honored other industry leaders including Rick Cotton, Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York And New Jersey, Lorraine Grillo, the Mayor’s Senior Advisor for Recovery, Sade Olanipekun-Lewis, Regional Director of Government and Airport Affairs at American Airlines, Michael Garner, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at the MTA, Jamie Torres Springer, former Commissioner at the NYC Department of Design and Construction and now Director of Construction & Development at the MTA, and Nina Kubota, President of the NYC School Construction Authority. The Subcontractor Trade Association is one of the leading trade associations focused on advocacy and legislative reform in the construction industry.
