Gearing up to host the largest American Express Centurion Lounge yet, the John F. Kennedy International Airport team officially broke ground on the highly anticipated project. The project is set to open within the airport’s already lively Terminal 4 and will cater to the exclusive membership belonging to card-holding passengers.
American Express SVP, Global Loyalty & Benefits Chris Cracchiolo commented: “As a major gateway for both domestic and international travel, we’re thrilled to soon provide our card members with a premium lounge experience in Terminal 4, one of the most active air terminals in the country.”
The 15,000 SF lounge project will feature a 2-story elevated lounge space and a mechanical penthouse located south of the existing terminal. The lounge will also include a member service area, back-of-house kitchen, family room and a bar installation with a seating area.
