Holt Construction Wraps Up American Airlines JFK Terminal 8 Outreach

On Friday, November 12, 2021, Holt Construction wrapped up its one-year milestone of it’s MWLBE outreach program Opportunity Fridays for the American Airlines Terminal 8 Redevelopment & Expansion project at John F. Kennedy International Airport, generating millions of dollars of business opportunities for MWOBs and LBEs.

Its upcoming modernization and redevelopment effort at Newark Liberty Airport’s (EWR) Terminal A will continue bringing new construction contract opportunities for the MWOBs, LBEs and small businesses in Newark and Elizabeth, as well as creating more jobs for local residents.

This major modernization and redevelopment project will position EWR to meet the travel needs in the 21st Century. As one the nation’s premier aviation builders, Holt Construction will lead several construction projects for Terminal A. The construction of the project will move quickly over the next 12 months in 2022.

To launch the new Newark Terminal A program,  Holt Construction is holding a virtual kickoff session via Zoom on Friday, December 10, 2021 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., to introduce the project as well as new contract and career opportunities at Newark’s Terminal A. Following the launch beginning in January, 2022, Holt is scheduling a comprehensive weekly outreach and educational program, “Opportunity Fridays’ designed to provide contract and career opportunities as well as technical assistance for pre-qualification, certification information and other topics relevant to increasing bidding opportunities.
