5th & Sunset at Philadelphia Marketplace

Holt was selected to complete the build-out for this unique retail concept, requiring a more complex approach to all finishes as the team factored in location and space.

Offering a wide variety of functional and fashionable glasses, 5th & Sunset was expected to shine within the terminal at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). With a variety of accessories for men and women, ranging from high-fashion brands to performance / sports brands, this retail concept required a space that would capture the brand’s unique atmosphere.

Tasked with completing the space within a premium location at PHL, the Holt team adopted a two-phased approach. The first phase included all perimeter work and deliveries; with the second phase encompassing all installation. Holt incorporated all owner provided fixtures and branding installations, in addition to implementing specialized signage. Because of the space’s juxtaposition with the required installations the process required a calculated approach, as the team applied great care to configuring the materials to fit the complex space.

The project required staged deliveries so there wouldn’t be any interference with the already compacted construction site. This retail build-out required a full demolition of the existing space, as well as carpentry work, HVAC, MEP, new tile installations, millwork and painting services. The installation process also included owner provided fixtures and special signage, which adhered to branding expectations.
