Holt Construction provided pre-construction services and served as construction manager for the refurbishment and replacement of nine (9) air handling units (AHU) as part of the Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G) Hospital Energy Efficiency Program.
The project also included 96 steam trap replacements and upgrades or replacements of over 17,000 existing lights and fixtures in the medical center to LED lighting. This included both exterior and interior spaces and was accomplished over a 12 month period. The medical center anticipates a significant reduction in energy usage and a reduction to its carbon footprint.
