Holt Construction was selected to provide General Contracting services to complete the much anticipated lounge at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
The client opened its 13th lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport ( JFK) which is the largest lounge to date and the first to encompass two (2) guest floors. The Lounge accommodates 223 guests and was actually built as an extension of the existing terminal out towards the tarmac. The new lounge spans more than 15,000 square feet in JFK’s Terminal 4. The floor-to-ceiling-windows are a dream for aviation enthusiasts. The lounge also has six “tree houses” – individual phone booths, restroom area, elevator and staircase. There is a high-top counter with plenty of seating, main buffet area, smaller buffet area, dining room and bar. The lounge features a multipurpose room designed for families traveling with children.
