Good Samaritan Hospital Suffern Medical Ambulatory Surgery Center
The center was designed to maximize patient and family privacy while promoting staff efficiency and flow. The project included four state-of-the-art Operating Rooms and a minor procedure room with the latest technology and equipment. 15 Post-Anesthesia Care Units (PACU) were also constructed along with two new nurse stations.
A new back up emergency generator with UPS capability for instant protection in case of power loss was also installed, along with a new roof top AC unit. This facility will accommodate most one-day procedures in such fields as orthopedics, ophthalmology, gynecology, Lap-Band surgery, and more. Other amenities include television hook-ups, a refreshment area for post-op patients, and a waiting area for family and friends.
