Holt Construction was selected by Silverstein Properties to complete the full fit-out for one of their most prominent tenants in 4 World Trade Center.
Holt worked closely with IEX, Silverstein, MKDA Architects and 2LS Engineers to ensure the project schedule of fourteen weeks was met. Through collaboration we identifying and pre-purchased all long lead items such as mechanical equipment (FCU’s and crack units), lighting, glass front, stone and millwork to accomplish the project. This was the first space at 4WTC with floating ceilings and exposed ductwork to achieve the maximum ceiling heights allowed.
Holt worked closely with the PANY/NJ from the permit process (TAA approval), inspections (above ceiling and final inspection) and the closeout process (TCO and Certificate of Occupancy). Due to our experience working in 4WTC and with PANY/NJ, this process was completely seamlessly. Holt was able to complete construction and TCO a week ahead of schedule and IEX was able to move in early.
