SSP America Irving Farm Coffee
Terminal B is the only airport location for Irving Farm Coffee Roasters, an important fixture on New York’s coffee scene since it was founded as a neighborhood café near Gramercy Park in 1996. As a part of LaGuardia Airport’s (LGA) $5.1 billion, 1.3 million square foot redevelopment project of Terminal B Irving Farm Coffee will be a permanent fixture in the airport, enlisting the services of Holt Construction Corp. to construct their new location.
With their success being largely attributed to their attention to detail, Holt Construction Corp. sought out to include as much of it into the smaller structure. The space, essentially a large kiosk, came prepared with standard millwork. Holt also worked on constructing walls that would accommodate the existing millwork, then proceeded with all the installation work.
The overall scope of the project consisted of assembling a free standing structure, and providing electrical and plumbing work as well as initiating equipment installation into the space.
Holt has constructed over five million SF of food and beverage facilities including casual restaurants, food prep and food holding distribution centers, pop-up style boutique eateries, state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, production kitchens and has restored historic locations into world-class fine dining restaurants.
