OTG Management Ember
The construction team orchestrated changes without hesitation and completed the all requests in time for the opening. Holt overcame all challenges to deliver the project on time to host the United Airlines Terminal Sneak Peak Opening. This location was the first open fire grill installed of its kind in the Houston airports.
A unique bar sits on the front of the restaurant housed by a crimson Victorian button sofa bench. The bar is mirrored with over 500 hundred different flavors of exclusive brands of wine bottles displayed in LED lighted rails. OTG partnered with James Beard Award-winning Chef Chris Shepherd to bring Ember, a Houston-focused tavern featuring flavors of the city to the Terminal C-North Experience.
Building on Chef Shepherd’s love of all things Houston, Ember emphasizes local seasonal produce, seafood from the Gulf, and locally-sourced meats, including hand-cut steaks and Texas-sized burgers. Ember hosts a Houston-centric marketplace with truly Texan cultivated goods. This project includes a bar, plus lots of tables for spreading out, and a glass-enclosed kitchen. The entire space sits below a canopy of 10,000 bronze stars strung to resemble the curved brim of a cowboy hat.
Holt has constructed over five million SF of food and beverage facilities including casual restaurants, food prep and food holding distribution centers, pop-up style boutique eateries, state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, production kitchens and has restored historic locations into world-class fine dining restaurants.
