United Airlines Temperature Controlled Storage
The main goal of this project is to enhance the culinary experience for all American Airline passengers, which American would partner with third-party culinary artists to accomplish. Because of the projects location, direct air-side access for outbound traffic is required. The most efficient way to accomplish this was by utilizing IPD via a 3-party contract between the owner, contractor and architect, which will streamline the project.
Holt is utilizing innovative and sustainable concepts during this project including; food waste-to-energy conversions, CHP (Combined Heat and Power), ENVAC systems and waste water recycling measures.
The building increases processing and provides United and its passengers with a highly efficient and effective means of handling air cargo.
