Holt Construction provided general contracting services for a new pre-build located at 280 Park Avenue, New York, NY.
The original scope of work included a white-box fit-out for the client. However, halfway through completion of the project, the space was rented out by new tenants with requests for all new fixtures, millwork, and other amenities. The original scope included demolition, carpentry, framing/drywall, ACT ceilings and hard ceilings, all new HVAC, new and modification of electrical, modification of existing fire alarm system, sprinkler modifications, new plumbing work for pantry, millwork (closets, doors, and pantry), glass office fronts, glass entry door and sidelights, carpet, and tile. A new elevator lobby was constructed in parallel to the office space with high-end tiles and wood wall coverings.
With the new tenant came redesigns to the original architectural drawings. In collaboration with the client, tenant and architect, Holt’s scope included all new millwork, electrical and a one-of-a-kind technology driven restroom for the tenant’s CEO.
