AA Mainline Conversion DFW

The expansion of the carved-out space on the ramp for new baggage handling room system (BHS) with the addition of sortation piers and baggage make-up units to support increased flight processing volumes and conversion of gates from regional aircraft to their mainline fleet.

 

The scope of the project extended the existing baggage handling system and added approximately 12,000 square feet of new BHS processing capacity in Terminal B at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

 

This expansion captured space to extend 6 existing hold-rooms to increase passenger processing capacity needed for increased flight volumes. Additionally, the project expanded the existing ticketing area and created new re-booking centers.

 

The scope of the project captured under-utilized portions of the concourse and created or renovated 12 new support spaces in addition to holdrooms, ticketing, and re-booking centers.
