Concessions, Terminal 5

Queens, NY

Holt Construction partnered with the client to complete the new concession located inside JFK International Airport, Terminal 5.

The scope of work included custom millwork, new drywall partitions and framing with insulation, acoustic grid/tiles, custom cutouts for light fixtures with diffusers, awning, cooler and new signage. Before construction could start, demolition was required including removal of plumbing fixtures and piping and capping sanitary mains, vents, and additional piping. In addition to the storefront, a small kitchen and prep area were constructed with a separate entrance. With the site located adjacent to a gate, all work was complete behind barricades to mitigate any safety concerns.
