Holt Construction provided construction services for the fit-out of the 500 sq. ft. high-end confectionary store in Rockefeller Center in New York.
Holt collaborated extensively with Trimble Architecture and trades during construction to conceal all MEP’s so all installations would adhere to design regulations, which met the standards of the client’s brand identity. Some of these regulations included the construction of new partitions in order to conceal electrical and HVAC, in addition to disguising multiple lighting fixtures within the main confectionery and cake displays. Ultimately, in addition to the fit-out, the scope of work included a one-of-a-kind cash wrap counter with imported Italian marble constructed in place in order to accommodate the size, weight and requirements for deliveries. The project also included the installation of new mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and the HVAC was tied into the building’s active systems.
