Expansion to existing dining hall for best-in-class dining experience.
The Granito Center, which opened in 1996, was intended to serve a resident population of no more than 300-400 students. In 2010 with 700 students residing on campus and expansion was greatly needed.
The project scope included expanding the kitchen and dining facilities, adding a lounge area with snack service, and converting a meeting room into a game room was our first priorities. Construction began in May 2010 and was completed in the fall of the same year.
