Holt Construction served as the general contractor for a retail fit-out in Terminal D at DFW International Airport.
Holt Construction completed a full renovation of an existing 1,500 sq. ft. concession space, including electrical upgrades, installation of a new electrical panel, replacement of kitchen equipment, new ceiling tiles, and re-grouted flooring. The team also adjusted the Ansul fire suppression system and performed various modifications to support updated operations.
The project took place in an active airport environment, requiring careful coordination to maintain safety and minimize disruption. Barriers, temporary pylons, and blacked-out windows were used to separate the work area from surrounding occupied spaces. As one of the highest-performing concession locations in DFW International Airport, meeting the accelerated schedule was essential, and the project was delivered on time and on budget.
