Holt Construction partnered with the client, as a construction manager, to complete a food and beverage fit-out in Terminal E of Logan Airport.
Holt Construction partnered on the buildout of Boston Harbor Distillery; a 2,500 square foot restaurant and bar located within the new Terminal E expansion at Logan Airport. Designed with a custom millwork package throughout, the space features a full-service bar, wall finishes, and seating areas that reflect the distillery’s signature aesthetic.
This project was built in tandem with Sal’s Pizza, which supplied kitchen service for the distillery. As part of a complex terminal wide expansion, construction took place alongside multiple contractors and required strict coordination with Massport and the base building team. Daily walkthroughs and meetings helped manage safety and schedule impacts, especially with unique site challenges such as mechanical systems that could not penetrate the terminal’s specialized roof, requiring all HVAC and plumbing to route downward. Despite delays in the electrical panel delivery and food service equipment, the project was delivered on time and under budget. Holt’s experience with secure airport environments and collaborative delivery made this build a seamless success.
