Gate 10 Ramp

Newark, NJ

Holt Construction partnered with the client as construction manager to construct a new space with multiple rooms.

Originally a raw space acting as storage for the client, Holt removed the existing windows within the CMU wall to install louvers in addition to removal of existing entry doors and frames for new card entry equipped fire rated door and frames. A TV niche and built in millwork for the new parts room in addition to cutting a section of the existing metal stud wall and gypsum board to create a new door opening was included. As this was airside and close to the tarmac, barricades were included during construction to maintain security and access for deliveries. New HVAC, sprinklers, fire alarms and security were included for each room. New polished concrete and resilient sheet flooring was installed, including 4’ FRPs on all walls.
