Holt completed demolition, clearing and site work for over 10 acres to construct the medical office building (MOB) along with a new pedestrian bridge that provides direct access to Good Samaritan Hospital.
The project had a 9-month schedule that started late September, pushing the project into the colder months of the year. Holt overcame cold weather concrete challenges by planning during pre-construction and using additives in the concrete, allowing construction to continue. The national healthcare MOB developer relied on Holt for pre-construction services and assistance with all required permits and local planning board approvals.
This project also included two parking lots, two underground retention basins and an underground tunnel between the MOB and the hospital.
