Holt Construction partnered with the client as construction manager to complete the new ICU center within the medical center.
The existing Critical Care Unit – CCU department have developed plans to improve the patient experience providing updates to promote a better healing environment, this scope included patient room finish upgrades, expanded patient support including alterations to staff support functional spaces, and replacing the existing HVAC roof top unit in conjunction with re-structuring the air distribution system providing room by room switchable negative pressure (SNP) air exhaust system. This project’s complexity was compounded by the facility’s desire to maintain 80% occupancy during the project duration.
