Fit-out for one of Silverstein Properties’ most prominent tenants in 4 World Trade Center.
Investors Exchange (IEX) is a stock exchange firm based in the United Sates who launched as a national securities exchange and is utilized by Wall Street exchanges. Due to Holt’s experience constructing in 4WTC and with the PANY/NJ, IEX and Silverstein Properties selected Holt as the Construction Manager.
Holt collaborated closely with IEX, Silverstein, MKDA Architects and 2LS Engineers to ensure the project schedule of fourteen weeks was met. Through collaboration Holt identified and pre-purchased all long lead items such as mechanical equipment (FCU’s and crack units), lighting, glass front, stone, and millwork to accomplish the project. This was the first space at 4WTC with floating ceilings and exposed ductwork to achieve the maximum ceiling heights allowed.
Holt worked closely with the PANY/NJ from the permit process (TAA approval), inspections (above ceiling and final inspection) and the closeout process (TCO and Certificate of Occupancy).
