Holt Construction partnered with the client as construction manager to replace the Lab Analyzer within the medical center.
The scope of work included preparing the hospital’s laboratory for new equipment which entailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work along with new interior finishes. Partial demolition was required to make space for new equipment, in addition to the staff’s lounge area and storage rooms being relocated. Due to the surrounding areas being occupied, Holt collaborated with the staff on where to install ICRA walls to mitigate dust. When the time came to install the new equipment, Holt moved all existing equipment which required electrical and data work to be completed first, to provide quick installation on the day of, which would mitigate any delays in the staff’s work. A staff breakroom, office, electrical closet and storage room was ultimately constructed.
