Holt Construction provided general contracting services for a large airline client to complete a new lounge featuring comfort and style for all passengers.
With capacity for up to 126 customers in an elegant space that overlooks the concourse, the new LaGuardia Maple Leaf Lounge combines Canadian design and art with metropolitan modern style. The 7,000-square-foot project featured a self-serve bar, which was built to carry a wide selection of beverages, a business centre and comfortable seating with a view of the tarmac. Other details include the installation of a cyber counter equipped with PCs and colour printing. The overall scope of the project included architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection as well as food service, audio visual and communication trades. Lounge features also include the installation of reception desk, seating and dining areas, warming kitchen, office, toilet facilities and support spaces
