Holt Construction partnered with the client as general contractor for the office expansion within the Empire State Building.
The scope of work included new office fronts, metal work ceiling tiles and open ceiling areas. Due to the floor being occupied, Holt worked with the existing tenants to mitigate safety issues through barricades and coordinating deliveries early in the morning or evenings. Before the expansion could commence, the location required demolition to join adjacent rooms. Holt Coordinated with Empire State Realty Trust Inc. on all tie ins once demolition was complete.
