Orange County Government Center Reconstruction

Updated and replaced multiple PIDS including boards and directional units

In 2014, final plans were created to restore the building with partial demolition to make way for a new addition. The project included stripping the building down to its posts and beams as Holt systematically removed portions of the outside walls on an as-needed basis to remove material from the interior. The construction process also included the rehabilitation of Division 1 and 3 buildings and the demolition of Division 2. The plan also called for the construction of an addition to the Division 3 site.

Great care was given to maintain the look and feel during the restoration. As this is a landmark site, the original brick will be utilized once reconstruction commences. While the new addition will mimic the look of the original building.
