Holt Construction partnered with the client to complete the fit-out of Hackettstown Medical Center’s outpatient behavioral section.
The scope of work included the demolition of an existing testing facility, doctors’ offices, and exam rooms and included demolition of existing duct work, roof top units, restrooms, and millwork. The entire space was demolished to the shell apart from some exam rooms that were converted to office space. New plumbing was installed to accommodate the new restrooms and staff lounges. Working with the slab on grade, the site required trenching over 100 feet in the existing concrete to accommodate a new waste line. Additionally, trenching was done for a new electrical stub UPS for the new conference room.
All existing electrical was removed and replaced with new electrical, fire alarms, child proof outlets, and panic buttons which were tied into the new alarm system. A new HVAC system was installed and modified to fit the existing units via supporting angles to increase the size of the opening.
