To oversee the fit-out of this delicate and highly specialized space, the client selected Holt Construction as general contractor as the latest in a long history of successful partnerships.
In addition to the full demolition of the existing radiology areas, the scope of work included installation of new MRI machines, state-of-the-art CT scanners, and recovery bays as well as new rooftop air handling units. Work was performed in patient occupied areas, requiring diligent adherence to Holt’s HASP to maintain proper function of public corridors and other sensitive spaces. The work was divided into three phases, the first of which included asbestos abatement after its discovery early in the project schedule.
