Restaurant 126 W 42nd Street

New York, NY

The restaurant is a sleek, swanky space upscale Northern Italian restaurant. Holt worked with Christopher Pagliaro Architects, RD Studio Inc. and Patti & Anthes Consulting Engineers to construct this three-floor dining space located in Bryant Park.

Holt coordinated the efforts of the sub-contractors and vendors hired by the restaurant to complete the extensive work. Major renovation and demolition work was required as the space was originally a restaurant. The restaurant includes a ground floor lobby with three elevators, multiple outside decks with full bar, and a second and third floor kitchen. Two private dining areas, including a one-of-a-kind wine room enclosure in addition to a whiskey themed private dining area was built within the space. The end result is a refined, elegant space, complete with high-end millwork and finishes including walnut wood, bar die-wall, venetian plaster walls and Calcutta gold bar counter tops throughout.
