WeWork’s design and real estate experts designed multiple floors for Bank of America at 75 Rockefeller Plaza that optimizes floor layout and operational goals. This unique project provided Holt Construction Corp. with an opportunity to apply our extensive experience building intuitive and collaborative spaces for the next generation of tenants.
The overall scope of work included the renovation and build-out of the 8th through 11th floors, consisting of a full demolition the existing coworking spaces. The floors feature glass wall installations surrounding secure private areas for the bank, inspiring common spaces for employees, and support areas including pantries, private and open workstations, conference rooms, and restrooms. The scope of work also included a custom steel staircase from the 8th to the 10th floors with wood treads and glass risers. The stairs were designed around a custom wood bookcase that extends from the 8th through the 10th floor.
Additional construction included new partitions, light, power and communication fixtures, and high-end millwork. Finishes throughout include new carpet, custom wall paint and coverings, upgraded HVAC distribution, electrical distribution, and plumbing. Our project team provided a rework of the building’s existing sprinkler system, to accommodate the new project conditions.
