Hudson Valley’s Unity Center Celebrates New Elevator

The completion of a new state-funded elevator at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center was celebrated Friday, Nov. 1 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The elevator was fully funded by a New York State grant spearheaded by the late Senator Bill Larkin Jr.. Holt Construction was the selected general contractor to complete this important project for the community’s center. Our team partnered with local labor to ensure the project was an all around success for the community. At the ribbon cutting, Holt and several of trade partners donated 900 cans of canned food goods to the armory, which will help stock the Armory’s food pantry.
