Retail Fit-out

Holt Construction was selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for a retail store fit-out project in Terminal D at DFW International Airport.

The scope of work included general demolition followed by a complete interior renovation featuring new drywall with wall coverings, ceilings, custom millwork, signage, doors and hardware, along with mechanical and electrical upgrades. The renovated space was designed to function as a modern retail environment serving airport travelers.

Work was performed in an active airport terminal, requiring the use of temporary partition walls and close coordination to maintain safety and limit impact on adjacent operations. The project was completed on a compressed schedule to support an opening prior to the Thanksgiving holiday travel period and was delivered successfully while meeting both schedule and budget goals.
